Shark Robotics in France TV
10/02/2023Hosted by Laura Tenoudji, Bleu Blanc Rouge is part of the France 2030 plan to make France a major center of innovation. Shark Robotics was chosen to illustrate French-style innovation in one of the 25 scheduled issues of Bleu Blanc Rouge, broadcast on the main public television channel during prime time.
"In France, 250,000 fires occur every year. Imagine a fire-fighting robot, capable of intervening in extreme temperatures, where no human can venture. This robot is called the Colossus. With a flow rate of 3,000 liters of water per minute, it can withstand temperatures of 900 degrees. Cyrille gave birth to it at Shark Robotics in La Rochelle. Controlled remotely, this machine made its mark during the Notre-Dame cathedral fire in Paris. Fitted with sensors, artificial intelligence and cameras, the Colossus detects dangers and risks of explosion, and even incorporates a breathing assistance system. An innovation that's getting France moving."
