A Draftsman/Designer (W/M) as soon as possible.
💼 YOUR MISSIONS:
Reporting to the Head of the Design Office, your responsibilities include:
Computer-Aided Design and Drafting
• Create all graphic documents related to a project (studies, execution plans, and as-built records) using specialized CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software.
• Perform detailed product design.
• Ensure the compliance of plans with the specific requirements of the company and various installations.
• Participate in the selection of the most suitable materials and methods, considering cost, performance, deadlines, material resistance, and manufacturing challenges.
• Update existing plans and explore possibilities for additional elements.
• Simulate and verify plans and components using digital modeling to identify and correct potential defects.
Technical Specifics Consideration
• Conduct studies or incorporate existing studies to integrate technical constraints into the plans.
• Ensure that plans comply with required standards.
• Monitor the progress of work in production, collect data, and modify initial plans if necessary.
• Ensure the quality of 2D and 3D data.
• Maintain traceability in design evolution.
• Follow a "Design to Cost" approach.
Project Monitoring and Cross-Collaboration
• Anticipate and address issues that may arise during the implementation phases, proposing corrective actions and communicating potential delays to supervisors.
• Contribute to the development of internal graphic guidelines and nomenclatures for the various tools used.
• Keep up-to-date with technical methods of production and realization in the company's industry.
🧑💼 YOUR PROFILE:
• Holding a diploma at the Bachelor's degree level (Bac +2/3): DUT or BTS in mechanical design, you have excellent knowledge of CAD/CAM software and modeling software like Solidworks.
• Proficiency in managing technical data.
• Comfortable with professional English.
• Ideally, 3 to 5 years of experience as a draftsman/designer in an industrial environment.
• Diligent, meticulous, and proactive.
• Independent and possess strong analytical skills.
• Good interpersonal skills, enjoy working in a team on a daily basis, and believe in collective success.
